Artificial Intelligence-Powered Digital Taxpayer Project from the Revenue Administration

Within the framework of the 2027 Presidential Annual Program, the Digital Taxpayer Representative Project prepared by the Revenue Administration (GİB) plans to provide real-time service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to taxpayers through an artificial intelligence-supported chatbot.

The Revenue Administration will implement the AI-powered Digital Taxpayer Representative Project to accelerate digital transformation in the tax system. The customized chatbot to be developed in accordance with the targets included in the 2027 Presidential Annual Program will serve taxpayers around the clock, and tax legislation will be integrated into the artificial intelligence infrastructure.

The new system is planned to be launched on the gib.gov.tr website and the GİBMOBİL application. Furthermore, it is aimed to transfer documents in tax offices to electronic media, make notification processes more efficient, and utilize artificial intelligence and big data in the fight against the informal economy.

Within the scope of the program, tax expenditures will be reviewed, and ineffective exceptions, exemptions, and deductions are projected to be eliminated. To strengthen the digital infrastructure of public financial management, an early warning and forecasting infrastructure will be established in the Integrated Public Financial Management Information System, while priority will be given to domestic production and eco-friendly vehicles for public transport.
