Economy and Energy Minister Hasan Taçoy listened to the problems of tradespeople and industrialists during his visit to the Famagusta Industrial Zone, calling for the industrial zones to be transferred to their owners with an autonomous approach.
Economy and Energy Minister Hasan Taçoy conducted inspections in the Famagusta Industrial Zone and came together with the tradespeople and industrialists in the region. According to information provided by the ministry, Taçoy listened to the difficulties experienced on the ground and evaluated potential solutions.
Making statements following his contacts, Taçoy expressed that problems in production have only been talked about until today, but permanent steps have not been taken. Noting that day-to-day policies must now be abandoned, Taçoy stated that the time has come to transfer industrial zones in terms of management to the industrialists and artisans who are their true owners.
Arguing that infrastructure problems can be permanently solved with an autonomous management model, Taçoy stated that external political factors will also lose their impact once obstacles to production are removed. Emphasizing that it is essential for the state and the private sector to work in coordination, Minister Taçoy extended his gratitude to business people who do not give up on production despite all the difficulties encountered.
