Services production index registered annual increase in August

The services production index increased by 2.3 percent in August compared to the same month of the previous year. During this period, information and communication services recorded a significant increase of 9.9 percent.
Annual Decline in Real Estate Services
According to the data examined on an annual basis, the real estate services sector decreased by 7.5 percent. In contrast, increases were recorded in transportation, accommodation, scientific, and administrative fields.
Production Trend on a Monthly Basis
The services production index recorded a limited increase of 0.2 percent in August compared to the previous month. On a monthly basis, declines were experienced in transportation and accommodation services.
