76 criminals, including those wanted with a red notice, brought to Turkey
With operations coordinated by the Ministry of Interior, 76 wanted individuals caught abroad were extradited to Turkey.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Interior, a total of 76 criminals—29 internationally wanted with a red notice and 47 nationally wanted—were captured abroad and brought to Turkey.
Extradition of Criminals Caught Abroad
The Ministry of Interior announced that the extradition of a total of 76 criminals to Turkey was ensured within the scope of efforts carried out to apprehend individuals sought at international and national levels.
Countries from Which Criminals Were Brought
It was reported by the competent authorities that the individuals were brought to the country from Georgia, Greece, Germany, France, the USA, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and Azerbaijan.
According to the detailed statements made, in addition to 61 individuals from Georgia, 4 from Greece, 4 from Germany, 2 from France, and 2 from the USA, extraditions were also carried out from the United Kingdom, Serbia, and Azerbaijan.
Inter-Agency Joint Operations
It was noted that the operation and tracking activities were jointly carried out by the EGM Interpol-Europol Department, officials of the Ministry of Justice, and the departments of KOM, Intelligence, Narcotics, Cyber, Public Order, and TEM.
