AI Tool and Pricing Allegations

Company Defense and Consumer Demands
The Chicago-based burger giant states that this tool is provided to help US franchisees determine prices in their own restaurants. The company announced publicly on Tuesday that the lawsuit is full of allegations and that it will vigorously defend itself.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a consumer named Michael Thomas from DeKalb, Illinois. The lawsuit requests that the court certify the case as a class action, award damages, and issue an injunction against anti-competitive agreements.
