Artificial intelligence data infrastructure provider Scale AI has brought on VM Group LLC for external lobbying operations as part of its ongoing work targeting the U.S. Department of Defense and the intelligence community.
New Address for Lobbying Activities
Scale AI ended its relationship with SHW Partners LLC for defense-focused lobbying efforts and reached an agreement with VM Group LLC.
On behalf of VM Group, Phil MacNaughton Jr. and Chris Vieson registered to represent the company's interests in defense matters.
Increased Investment in Government Relations
The company has spent $3.15 million over the past four quarters, retaining 38 active lobbyists within its expanding government relations network.
Over the past five years, intensive lobbying activities have been carried out in the fields of defense, intelligence, and technology.
Ongoing Collaborations
In addition to the agreement with VM Group, the company continues to work with firms such as Cornerstone Government Affairs, Mehlman Consulting, and S-3 Group.
Furthermore, internal figures such as Max Fenkell and Ariel Marshall coordinate policy and government relations.
