Adıyaman Municipality delivered free services to 70 thousand people throughout the summer
The Adıyaman Municipality Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs offered events to tens of thousands of citizens in various fields between June 1 and August 31.
The Adıyaman Municipality Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs announced that it provided free services to approximately 70 thousand people through cultural, artistic, educational, sports, and social solidarity activities during the summer period of 2026.
Summer Culture and Art Activities
Summer schools, Municipal Conservatory activities, cinema, and theater screenings were held between June 1 and August 31, 2026.
Additionally, national match broadcasts, concerts, and various art events were organized to revitalize the cultural life of citizens.
Exam and Preference Support for Students
Within the scope of support in the field of education, various refreshments were offered to students taking the LGS and YKS exams on exam days.
During the preference period, completely free consultancy and guidance services were provided to candidate students.
Summer Sports Schools and Courses
A total of 4,338 people benefited free of charge from the Healthy Life and Sports Complex Summer Sports Schools activities.
While swimming courses were the most attended branch with 3,713 participants, football, volleyball, basketball, and zumba activities were also organized.
Social Solidarity and Marriage Services
While traditional ashura was served to 3,000 people during the month of Muharram, condolence services were also carried out without interruption.
During the summer period, a total of 741 marriage procedures were carried out, including 21 couples of foreign nationals.
Statements by the Mayor
Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere stated that they do not limit their understanding of municipalism only to the physical needs of the city.
He emphasized that strengthening cultural and social life is also among their primary service areas.
