The organization, implemented by Kepez Municipality, is aimed at contributing to the establishment of new bonds rather than just being an event where artists are awarded.
Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz emphasized their determination to carry the district's culture and art activities to an international dimension.
International Cultural Bridges
Off Avignon Festival Director Harold David made important statements regarding the development of cultural relations between France and Turkey.
Theatre actor Tamer Levent stated that festivals should not be limited to performances alone but should also encompass cultural exchange and joint production.
Turkic World Collaborations
TÜRKSOY Uzbekistan Representative Şevket Ortukova and TÜRKSOY Turkey Representative Abdullah Kutlu Yalçın touched upon joint efforts.
It was stated at the meeting that the visibility of theatre troupes in Anatolia will be increased and new opportunities will be offered to young theatre artists.
