During the celebration program held at the Tophane-i Âmire Culture and Art Center, 40 rare works whose restoration was completed specially for the company's 40th anniversary met with art enthusiasts.
Eksim Holding celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding with a special program attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The opening of an exhibition consisting of rare works whose restoration was completed took place at the event held at the Tophane-i Âmire Culture and Art Center.

Eksim Holding celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special program organized at the Tophane-i Âmire Culture and Art Center in Istanbul. In addition to Eksim Holding Chairman of the Board Ebubekir Tivnikli, who hosted the event, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, and Istanbul Governor Davut Gül also participated.
Opening of the Loyalty to the Book Exhibition
Within the scope of the event, the 'Loyalty to the Book: Bookbinding Art and Restoration Exhibition', which brought together 40 rare works restored in honor of the company's 40th year, was opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the opening, a manuscript book dating back approximately 500 years was also presented to President Erdoğan by Eksim Holding Chairman of the Board Ebubekir Tivnikli.
The Work Prepared for Suleiman the Magnificent
The gift presented to the President is a manuscript work prepared for Suleiman the Magnificent approximately 500 years ago. The book, which is identified as the oldest surviving copy transcribed while its author was still alive, contains hadiths narrated by Abu Ayyub al-Ansari.
Restoration Process of the Historical Artifact
Restored and brought to the present day by bookbinder Muharrem Kalenci at the Abdullah Tivnikli ISAR Foundation, the work bears the title of fragrant breezes spreading to the world from the hadiths of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari. This rare work and other studies are among the foundation's activities to protect cultural heritage.
Library and Restoration Activities
Eksim Holding Chairman of the Board Ebubekir Tivnikli stated that there is a library containing approximately 50,000 works within the Abdullah Tivnikli ISAR Foundation. Tivnikli stated that more than a thousand works have been successfully restored to date.
Valuable Works Included in the Exhibition
The Loyalty to the Book exhibition features works of great value in terms of cultural memory, such as Muhyiddin Ibn al-Arabi's 500-year-old manuscript Fusus al-Hikam, Shaykh Ghalib's manuscript Divan, İbrahim Hakkı of Erzurum's Marifetname, and Yazıcıoğlu Muhammed Efendi's Muhammediye.
