The Kurdish Culture and Research Foundation (KÜRT-KAV) has released a mobile application named Kurdistanbul on the App Store and Google Play to gather the events and cultural activities of Kurdish institutions in Istanbul on a single platform.
Purpose of the Application
Developed by the Kurdish Culture and Research Foundation, the Kurdistanbul app aims to announce the public events of Kurdish institutions and communities in Istanbul.
Available on Platforms
In a social media statement made by the foundation, it was reported that the application can be downloaded to smartphones via both the App Store and Google Play.
Call for Support to Institutions
KÜRT-KAV requested all Kurdish institutions and communities operating in Istanbul to contact them and support this collaborative effort.
Foundation History
The Kurdish Culture and Research Foundation was established in 1992 under the leadership of numerous writers, intellectuals, and politicians, and gained legal entity status in 1996.

KÜRT-KAV holds the distinction of being the first institution in the history of the Republic of Turkey to be officially registered with the word "Kurd" in its name.
