The Amargî Culture and Art Association, operating in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, was raided by police teams at midnight with the help of a locksmith, and a search was conducted without the management's knowledge.

An operation was carried out by police teams at midnight hours on the Amargî Culture and Art Association building located in the Sur district of Diyarbakır province.
It was stated that the door was opened with the help of a locksmith to allow the security forces to enter the association building, and that no prior information was given to the association management during this time.
Lock Changed and Note Left
Following the search operations, the police teams completely replaced the door lock of the association building with a new one.
After the new lock was installed on the building, an informational note was left on the door by the authorities stating that the key could be collected from the police department.
Management Reaction and Criminal Complaint
The executives who arrived at the association building in the morning hours noticed the intervention, evaluated the situation, and argued that what happened was completely unlawful.
The association management announced to the public that they would resort to legal remedies and file a criminal complaint regarding this unauthorized and irregular search and lock-changing procedure.
