The Anadolu University Symphony Orchestra performed its academic opening concert for the 2026-2027 Academic Year at the Student Center Yunus Emre Hall, bringing select works of classical music together with art lovers.
Protocol and Attendees
The concert was attended by Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, Eskişehir Deputy Governor Akın Ağca, military and administrative officials, as well as numerous academics, students, and music enthusiasts.
Soloists and Works
Under the direction of Conductor Murat Göktaş, violinists Gülen Ege Serter and Şeniz Serter took the stage as soloists, offering the audience a musical feast.
First Part of the Concert Program
In the first part of the program, Armağan Durdağ's Red Sail, J.S. Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D minor, BWV 1043, and I. Frolov's Divertimento were successfully performed.
Second Part with a Beethoven Masterpiece
In the second part of the concert, the orchestra presented L. van Beethoven's four-movement Symphony No. 8, Op. 93, to the appreciation of art lovers.
