A total of 37 culture and arts events are meeting art lovers in different cities of Turkey between September 25 and October 1, 2026. The program features numerous new exhibitions, festivals, and fairs.

General Art Route of the Week

This week's art route expands to cover provinces including Istanbul primarily, as well as Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Adana, and Bayburt. Among the total 37 culture and arts events in the program, 11 new events stand out.

The event calendar features fairs, festivals, exhibitions, theater performances, play readings, exhibition tours, talks, and six different concert programs on the agendas of art enthusiasts.

Major Fairs in Istanbul

The 21st edition of Contemporary Istanbul can be visited at Tersane Istanbul until September 27. Hosting seventy galleries from sixteen countries, the fair features the Focus: Asia program and special projects.

The Istanbul Culture Trail Festival offers a broad program ranging from concerts and exhibitions to performing arts and children's events between September 26 and October 4.

New Exhibition Openings in Museums

Prepared under the curation of Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu at the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum, the exhibition "The 1914 Generation: Painters We Know" opened to visitors on September 26.

At the Pera Museum, Frank Bowling's first exhibition in Turkey, "Creation and Destruction," along with the "Behind the Camera of the Republic" exhibition, meet viewers on September 29.

Galleries and Culture Centers

Bringing the Uzelli Cassette archive together with street art, the RE-COVER exhibition opened at oktowallz on September 25, while Canan Savaş's "Jackal Wedding" exhibition will run at Muse Contemporary until October 18.

The Artweeks Istanbul Collector’s exhibition held at Akaretler Row Houses brings together three special collections.
