The 33rd International Muğla Culture and Art Festival Began in City Square
Starting with a ceremony held at Menteşe City Square, the 33rd International Muğla Culture and Art Festival will welcome visitors for four days with a rich event program.
Hosted by Menteşe Municipality and with the contributions of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, the 33rd International Muğla Culture and Art Festival opened its doors with an enthusiastic ceremony held at Menteşe City Square.
The Beginning at the City Square
The 33rd International Muğla Culture and Art Festival, hosted by Menteşe Municipality, officially started with a ceremony held at Menteşe City Square. Colorful scenes marked the opening program.
Protocol and Participants
The opening ceremony was attended by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras, Menteşe District Governor Ali Edip Budan, Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras, political party representatives, and numerous citizens.
Opening Ceremony and Performances
Beginning with folk dance performances, the opening program featured protocol members lighting the festival fire and releasing pigeons into the sky as a symbol of peace.
Neşet Ertaş Folk Songs
Turkish folk music artists Emel Taşçıoğlu and Gülşen Kutlu, taking the stage during the first days of the festival, offered a musical feast to the attendees by performing Neşet Ertaş folk songs.
Four-Day Program
Within the scope of the four-day events, the schedule includes talks, concerts, art workshops, children's activities, exhibitions, theater plays, kite events, and the Karabağlar Melon Festival.

In the following days of the program, national and international artistic events such as a concert by Gökçe and a concert by the Embassy of Guatemala Ensemble will meet with music lovers.
