Turkish Culture and Art Promoted at Symposium in Hungary
Turkish ceramic art and coffee culture met with participants at the international event held in the town of Bugac.
Important presentations on Turkish culture and art were made at the 12th International Symposium on the Promotion of Turkish Culture and Arts, held in the town of Bugac, Hungary.
International Symposium and Its Scope
The 12th International Symposium on the Promotion of Turkish Culture and Arts was held with the participation of numerous academics and researchers in the town of Bugac, Hungary. Implemented within the scope of the Hun-Turkish kurultay, which is held biennially, this event contributed to the international promotion of Turkish culture.
Presentation of Ceramic and Coffee Culture
Lecturer Emel Mülayim from the Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics Department in Antalya presented a paper titled 'The Reflection of Ceramic Art in the Context of Cups from Past to Present in Turkish Coffee Culture' at the event. Mülayim conveyed an important decoration technique in traditional Turkish ceramic art to the participants through a hands-on workshop study.
Ottoman Traces and Intense Interest
At the international symposium, it was once again recalled that traces of the Ottoman Empire can be seen in many parts of Europe. Attendees of the Hun-Turkish Kurultay followed the presented ceramic art history studies with great admiration and asked questions about Turkish coffee and cups.
