August Inflation Expectations and Market Forecasts
The August inflation expectation survey, conducted with the participation of economists, has been concluded and a decline in the annual rate is projected.
Ahead of the August inflation data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the results of the expectation survey organized by AA Finance with the participation of 20 economists have been announced.
Monthly Inflation Expectation
The average of the monthly inflation increase expectations of the economists participating in the August inflation expectation survey conducted by AA Finance was calculated as 1.86 percent.
Annual Inflation Forecast
According to the average of economists' August inflation expectations, annual inflation, which was at 31.75 percent in July, is expected to fall to 31.52 percent in August.
Year-End Forecasts
According to the survey results, the average of economists' year-end consumer inflation expectations stood at 29.49 percent.
