Biotrend and Germany-based Uniper Global Commodities SE (UGC) have signed a non-binding Letter of Intent regarding the potential purchase of products to be obtained from biomethane production facilities to be established in Turkey.
Letter of Intent Signed at the Business Forum
A commercial cooperation step was taken between Biotrend and Germany's Uniper Global Commodities SE at the business forum held in Istanbul between Turkey and Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia State.
Biomethane Production and Purchasing Framework
The main framework of the signed Letter of Intent consists of the potential purchase by UGC of the products to be obtained from the biomethane production facilities to be implemented by Biotrend in Turkey.
Process and Distribution of Responsibilities
UGC will act as a potential buyer for the products for which Biotrend manages raw material supply, sustainability criteria, auditing, certification, and registration processes.
Future Negotiations and Terms
It is anticipated that the amount of biomethane subject to sale, pricing principles, and other commercial terms will be negotiated by the parties in the future and tied to final contracts.
