Foreign Trade and Annual Deficit

Services and Income Balance
While the services balance posted a surplus of 63.5 billion dollars, the primary income balance recorded a deficit of 25.2 billion dollars, and the secondary income balance registered a deficit of 1.9 billion dollars. Net inflows driven by the services balance amounted to 8 billion 228 million dollars in July.
Tourism and Transportation Items
In the details under the services balance, net revenues of 2 billion 893 million dollars were generated from transportation services. The net income obtained from the travel item materialized at the level of 5 billion 968 million dollars.

In July, while direct investments by non-residents increased, portfolio investments recorded a net inflow of 5 billion 841 million dollars. As for official reserves, a net increase of 14 billion 252 million dollars was experienced in the relevant month.
