Central Bank total reserves declined in the week of September 18
While the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey decreased, an increase was recorded in gold reserves.
According to weekly money and bank statistics announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, total reserves experienced a decrease in the week of September 18 compared to the previous week.

Change in Total Reserves
The Central Bank's total reserves decreased by $4 billion 319 million in the week of September 18, falling to $174 billion 405 million compared to the previous week.
Status of Gross Foreign Exchange Reserves
As of September 18, the CBRT's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by $5 billion 636 million down to $62 billion 808 million, having been at the level of $68 billion 444 million the previous week.
Increase in Gold Reserves
During the same period, gold reserves increased by $1 billion 317 million, rising from $110 billion 280 million on September 11 to $111 billion 597 million.
