Türkiye Bankalar Birliği President Alpaslan Çakar stated that the fund issue is confined to a limited area and its numerical magnitude is not very large.
Emphasizing that the developments will not have a negative reflection on the banking sector, Çakar noted that the money withdrawn from there remained within the system.
SME loans and liquidity steps
Stating that the Central Bank's increase in the growth limit for SME loans has nothing to do with fund investigations, Çakar noted that there is a need for liquidity in the market.

Vakıfbank General Manager Osman Arslan said that they do not have customers requesting liquidity originating from funds and that this is a temporary situation.

Stating that the credits extended by the banking sector to the energy sector have exceeded 1 trillion TL, Alpaslan Çakar conveyed that the share of renewable energy has reached 53 percent.

International Energy Agency President Fatih Birol said that increasing the share of electricity in global energy systems will be discussed during the COP31 process.
