Erdal Bahçıvan will not run again for ISO presidency
Istanbul Chamber of Industry President Erdal Bahçıvan announced that he will not run again for the position he has held since 2013 in the upcoming elections.
Istanbul Chamber of Industry Chairman of the Board Erdal Bahçıvan announced to the public at a press conference held at ISO Odakule that he will not be a candidate again for the presidency he has been carrying out since 2013.

Istanbul Chamber of Industry Chairman of the Board Erdal Bahçıvan shared an important decision during a meeting with members of the press at the ISO Odakule building.
Bahçıvan stated that in the upcoming elections for the presidency he has held since 2013, he will not run again and will relinquish this trust of his own accord.
Difficult Periods During the Term of Office
Erdal Bahçıvan reminded that challenging processes such as global financial fluctuations, currency shocks, and the Covid-19 outbreak were experienced during his term of office.
He also stated that ISO did not leave the industrialist alone during critical periods such as the energy crisis, wars, the earthquake disaster, and high inflation.
Principled Stance for Industry
Emphasizing that they acted with the understanding of saying right is right and wrong is wrong for a strong industry throughout his term, Bahçıvan said they conveyed the problems of the industrialist.
He expressed that they carried the various problems faced by industrialists to decision-makers and always presented criticisms together with solution proposals.
Elections and Message of Support
Stating that he will support Ender Yılmaz, who announced that he is a presidential candidate in the upcoming Istanbul Chamber of Industry elections, Bahçıvan made statements.
Bahçıvan added his belief that Ender Yılmaz will carry ISO's brand value even further and wished him success in the new term.
