Bringing together more than 3,000 professionals from over 50 countries as part of the tourism sector's preparations for the 2027 season, GlobeMeets 2026 has opened its doors at Rixos Tersane Istanbul, targeting a business volume of hundreds of millions of euros.
Start of the Event
Held for the fourth time with the motto "Meeting Point Beyond Borders," GlobeMeets 2026 opened its doors at Rixos Tersane Istanbul and brought tourism professionals together.
Participant Profile
The event features over 1,000 buyer travel agencies from more than 50 countries, 200 participating companies, official tourism offices from 11 countries, and nearly 20 global airlines.
Goals and Meetings
During the two-day organization, over 25,000 B2B meetings are expected to take place, generating a commercial business volume exceeding €100 million.
Official Opening Speeches
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alpaslan stated that Turkey is one of the world's leading four tourism countries with 64 million visitors and $65 billion in revenue.
GlobeMeets Co-Founder Hüseyin Kurt expressed that they aim to create a platform through the event that brings the world together in Istanbul and turns international connections into collaborations.
