September Return Rates

The Turkish Statistical Institute shared the real return rates of financial investment instruments for September with the public. According to the released data, the highest monthly real return occurred in government domestic debt securities.

Monthly Changes According to Indices

The highest monthly real return reached 1.18 percent when deflated by the domestic producer price index. When deflated by the consumer price index, this rate was calculated as 1.40 percent.

Status of Other Investment Instruments

When deflated by the domestic producer price index, the gross deposit interest provided a real return of 0.96 percent. In the same period, the US Dollar, Euro, bullion gold, and BIST 100 index were among the instruments that caused losses for investors.

Annual Evaluation Results

According to the annual evaluation results, bullion gold was the investment instrument that provided the highest real return. Bullion gold offered a real return of 7.25 percent with the domestic producer price index and 5.30 percent with the consumer price index.
