Istanbul Economy Forum Brings Together Global Central Bankers
Leading central bank executives of the world are gathering at a critical summit in Istanbul to discuss the global economy.
Managers of the world's leading central banks are preparing to meet at the Istanbul Economy Forum, which will be held in Istanbul on October 8-9.
Participants of the Summit
In line with the program compiled by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey, BIS General Manager Pablo Hernandez Cos, and Banque de France Governor Emmanuel Moulin will take part in the event.
International Representatives
The meeting is also expected to be attended by the governors of the central banks of Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. A total of 16 central bank governors and 8 deputy governors will meet in Istanbul.

The main agenda of the forum will cover monetary policy in a fragmented global economy, interest rate decisions in an environment of uncertainty, the trajectory of public debts, and the impacts of artificial intelligence and digital innovation on economic policies.
