Massive activity took place in the Tera Portfolio First Free Fund before default and liquidation decisions were made. Following the new fund guide, thousands of investors exited the fund, triggering a net cash outflow of billions of liras.
Exits Starting After the New Guide
Activity accelerated in the Tera Portfolio First Free Fund following the new fund guide published on August 28. During this process, which took place prior to the liquidation process and default decisions, investors were observed to rapidly change their positions within the fund.
Net Cash Outflow of Billions of Liras
Before the default and liquidation decision was announced, a total of 8,560 investors left the fund. As a result of these departures, it was calculated that a total of 59.6 billion liras in net cash outflow was recorded from the fund.
Intense Outflow Waves by Days
The heaviest outflows from the fund concentrated in the first week of September. Data revealed that a large number of investors abandoned the fund, especially with billions of liras in cash outflows on September 1 and September 2.
Liquidation Process and Waiting
In the fund, which was added to the liquidation list by the Capital Markets Board, the status of those who placed sell orders prior to the process remains uncertain. The remaining 102,616 investors are now awaiting the details and developments of the liquidation process.
