Following two separate government bond auctions, the total borrowing amount of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has been finalized.

Sales to the market have been completed in two separate bond auctions held by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and the total borrowing amount was calculated as 100 billion 840.4 million liras.

Details of the First Auction

In the first auction, a two-year government bond with fixed coupons and semi-annual coupon payments of 18 percent was reissued.

In this auction, the simple interest rate was 36.53 percent, and the compound interest rate was 39.87 percent.

Sales Amounts in the First Auction

In the auction where nominal bids reached 38 billion 987 million liras, net sales amounted to 24 billion 242.5 million liras.

All bids from the public sector were met, and sales were made to some of the bids from market makers.

Details of the Second Auction

In the second auction, a five-year government bond with fixed coupons and semi-annual coupon payments of 16.63 percent was reissued.

In this auction, the simple interest rate was recorded as 35.55 percent, and the compound interest rate as 38.71 percent.

Sales Amounts in the Second Auction

In the second auction, where nominal bids reached 46 billion 990 million liras, the net sales amount was 30 billion 547.9 million liras.

Bids amounting to 8 billion 300 million liras from the public sector were fully met, and sales were made to market makers.
