Service production index data for July 2026 announced
Growing by 3 percent annually in July, the service production index also recorded a 1 percent increase on a monthly basis.
The service production index in Turkey showed an increase of 3 percent on an annual basis and 1 percent on a monthly basis in July 2026. While increases were experienced in some areas on a sectoral basis, contraction was observed in certain service branches.
Annual and Monthly General Change
The service production index recorded a 3 percent increase in July 2026 compared to the same month of the previous year. When examined on a monthly basis, the index also showed a 1 percent rise.
Areas Showing Sectoral Growth
In July, transportation and storage services increased by 2.8 percent, and accommodation and food services by 5.3 percent. Information and communication services recorded a growth of 7.9 percent, and professional, scientific and technical services by 5.5 percent.
Areas Experiencing Sectoral Declines
A decline was recorded in certain service branches. While real estate services decreased by 5.2 percent, administrative and support service activities showed a drop of 3.3 percent.
