Within the scope of the visit, incentives and facilities provided to companies were discussed in detail, and steps taken to increase production capacity were evaluated.

Digital Transformation and Business Environment

Minister Al-Shaar listened to a comprehensive presentation regarding the agency's role in digital transformation processes and the digital services offered to industrial enterprises.

During the presentation, mechanisms applied to facilitate procedures, improve the business environment, and attract foreign investments to the country were conveyed.

Sectoral Coordination and Quality

Coordination mechanisms between the agency and expert associations in the textile, ready-to-wear, leather, and footwear sectors were discussed at the meeting.

The roles assumed by these organizations in improving product quality and increasing competitiveness in foreign markets were evaluated.

Bilateral Agreements and Objectives

Heading an economic delegation in Uzbekistan, Al-Shaar is holding talks for the realization of joint projects and the expansion of trade relations.

A memorandum of understanding on economic information exchange and fair participation had been signed in February between the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
