A comprehensive study conducted in the United States has revealed the car brands with the highest probability of exceeding 400,000 kilometers, with Japanese manufacturers taking the top spot.
Scope of the Study
In the new study examining data from over 395 million vehicles across the US, the threshold of 250,000 miles, which is approximately 402,000 kilometers, was used as the basis.
Toyota Takes the Top Spot
According to the published study, Toyota ranked first by a wide margin on the list, with 19.7% of its vehicles having the potential to reach this high mileage.
Dominance of Japanese Brands
Lexus ranked second with 14.4%, Honda third with 13.3%, and Acura fourth with 9.5%, taking up all of the top four positions.
Industry Average and Other Results
While the overall industry average in the study was calculated at 5.4%, no European car brands managed to enter the top 10.
