The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration under the Ministry of Health received media feedback indicating that some private clinics in the Mekong Delta region were issuing health certificates for job applications with very fast processing times.

Instructions for Review Issued to Local Departments

The Director of the Can Tho City Health Department and the Director of the Dong Thap Province Health Department were asked to urgently verify the accuracy of the information reported in the press and to handle any potential violations in accordance with the law.

The relevant units will publicly disclose the results regarding the inspection, verification, and handling of the cases, and report the results of their work by September 18, 2026.

Inspection and Oversight Activities Being Increased

The Ministry of Health requests the strengthening of inspection and oversight regarding the announcement of facilities authorized to conduct health examinations, as well as strict compliance with legal regulations.

Health examination facilities in the region are required to maintain a 24/7 call center on their websites to receive feedback from individuals and organizations.
