Developed with national resources
Test activities for the GEZGİN cruise missile, developed with national resources by TÜBİTAK-SAGE, continue uninterrupted. Various tests have been successfully carried out to date in the confidential project.
The missile, which can be used from platforms belonging to the land, air, and naval forces, is expected to have a range of 1,500 kilometers.
Submarine and firing tests
Encapsulated Gezgin Mass Equivalent Firings were successfully carried out in Aksaz using the Submarine Test Infrastructure designed and produced by TÜBİTAK SAGE.
System integrations
Integration activities of the GEZGİN missile into the MİDLAS National Vertical Launch System, developed by Roketsan, are also ongoing.
Platform compatibility
While it is evaluated that the missile can be used by land, air, sea, and submarine platforms, it had previously been featured in a promotional video for the F-16 ÖZGÜR platform.
