Trade Minister Bolat Evaluates the Economy in Kırşehir, Nevşehir and Kayseri
During his contacts in Anatolia, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that Turkey's national income target has risen to $1.8 trillion and the country is on its way to becoming the world's 16th largest economy.
Holding various contacts in Kırşehir, Nevşehir and Kayseri, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat shared Turkey's economic growth data, tradesman supports and export targets with the public.
Economic Growth and Targets
In his statements in Kırşehir, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that by the end of the year, national income will reach $1.8 trillion and national income per capita will reach $20,500. He stated that with these figures, the country will rise from the 21st largest economy in the world to the 16th largest economy position. Emphasizing that Turkey has grown for 24 consecutive quarters over the last 6 years, Bolat noted that the economy has been successfully managed despite regional conflicts.
Education and Tradesman Supports
Stating that with the start of the new academic year, 17 million students and 1.2 million teachers have entered the term, Bolat conveyed that 285 million free textbooks have been provided to students. He noted that credit limits originating from Halk Bank have been increased and regulations have been made so that tradesmen with tax or insurance premium debts can also benefit from the supports.
New Credit and Investment Good News for Nevşehir
Visiting Nevşehir after Kırşehir, Minister Bolat gave the good news that a new tradesman credit of 75 million liras will be sent to tradesmen on an emergency basis. Stating that the city realized 621 million dollars in exports, Bolat expressed that restructuring will be carried out at the Nevşehir Customs Directorate and the target of 4.5 million tourists in tourism continues.
Export and Industry Night Program
Attending the 60th Anniversary Industry Night of the Kayseri Chamber of Industry, Bolat said that the year-end target of 410 billion dollars in goods and services exports will be reached, and annualized goods exports have exceeded 280 billion dollars. TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who attended the program, voiced demands for ease of access to finance and additional supports for SMEs.
