Trade Minister Ömer Bolat Announces Export Targets in Kayseri

Speaking at the 60th Anniversary Industry Night held in Kayseri, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat stated that they target $410 billion in goods and service exports this year, emphasizing that exports remain a red line under all circumstances.

Economic Developments and Investments
Stating that a total of 500 billion liras in public investments have been made in Kayseri over the past 23 years, Minister Bolat noted that the Turkish economy has grown more than 7-fold. He stated that the country has risen from the 21st largest economy in the world to the 16th largest.
Export Targets and Support
Announcing the target of $410 billion in goods and services exports this year, Bolat expressed that they will exceed the target of $282 billion in goods exports by the end of the year. He reported that 60% of the budget has been allocated to export supports and that the Central Bank rediscount credit daily limit has been increased to 5 billion liras.
