TURKSTAT July 2026 Data: Number of Paid Employees Increased Year-on-Year
According to the July statistics announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the total number of paid employees recorded an increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to the Paid Employee Statistics for July 2026 published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the total number of paid employees across the industry, construction, and trade-services sectors experienced an annual increase of 1.7 percent.

The July 2026 data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute revealed the annual change in paid employee statistics.
According to the official figures released, the number of paid employees in the total of industry, construction, and trade-services sectors showed an increase on an annual basis.
Annual Change and Number of Individuals
The number of paid employees, which was 16,114,128 in the same month of the previous year, reached 16,393,563 in July 2026.
In line with this data, the annual increase rate in the total number of paid employees was recorded as 1.7 percent.
Annual Developments on a Sectoral Basis
When the sub-details of paid employees were examined, it was seen that there were different trends among sectors.
While the number of employees in the industry sector decreased by 1.5 percent annually, it increased by 3.5 percent in the construction sector and 3.1 percent in the trade-services sector.
Monthly Change Rates
The total number of paid employees across the industry, construction, and trade-services sectors showed no change in July 2026 compared to the previous month.
Looking at the monthly changes of sub-sectors, a 0.1 percent decrease was recorded in the industry sector, no change in the construction sector, and a 0.1 percent increase in the trade-services sector.
