Two Tankers on Illegal Route Hit Mines and Catch Fire in the Strait of Hormuz

According to a statement by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, two oil tankers attempting to pass through an illegal route in the Strait of Hormuz and left for the use of US forces hit a mine, exploded, and caught fire.
Tankers Hit Mines
In a written statement by the Public Relations Department of the Revolutionary Guard Corps published by the Fars News Agency, details of the critical incident in the Strait of Hormuz were shared.
The statement reported that two oil tankers, which evacuated their crews with the encouragement of the US military and were advancing along an illegal route, stopped after hitting a mine and are currently burning.
Legal Route and Warnings
It was recalled that the Navy of the Revolutionary Guard Corps had previously issued warnings against using the transit route where mines had been laid.
It was noted that additional sanctions will soon be implemented for maritime companies that failed to use the legal route, followed the guidance of the US, and left their ships for the use of these forces.
