Strategic Technology Areas
Unmanned aerial vehicles are being tested for surveillance purposes on a farm in Tan Thanh commune. The list published by the Provincial People's Committee in April 2026 covers priority technologies that need to be developed by 2030.
Application Areas and Projects
Multi-purpose UAVs integrated with sensors and artificial intelligence will be used in many fields such as smart agriculture, environmental monitoring, mapping, traffic management, and firefighting.
Regional Development Goals
At the Tay Ninh Province Innovation Startup Ecosystem Development Forum, it was emphasized that science and technology will be the driving force of growth in the new era. The provincial administration aims to become the UAV center of the Southern region.
Ministry Support and Coordination
The Minister of Science and Technology appreciated the proactive approach of the local government and stated that coordination will be provided for the development of the institutional framework and technical standards.
