Urgent expropriation of real estate decided within the scope of energy projects
Within the framework of the presidential decrees published in the Official Gazette, it was decided to urgently expropriate certain real estate properties for various energy projects of TEİAŞ and TPAO.
Presidential decrees regarding the urgent expropriation of certain real estate properties for various electricity and oil exploration projects to be carried out by Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ) and Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) have been published in the Official Gazette.
Expropriation for TEİAŞ Projects
Certain real estate properties will be urgently expropriated within the scope of energy transmission line and transformer center projects belonging to the General Directorate of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation.
In line with the decisions taken, ownership will be established for pole locations and easement rights will be established for conductor swing clearances for the specified line projects.
Steps Regarding TPAO Activities
It was decided to expropriate the areas needed for projects carried out for oil and natural gas exploration activities in the Thrace region.
In this process to be carried out by Turkish Petroleum Corporation, it is envisaged to establish ownership or easement rights.
