13 Suspects Detained in IMM Tender Investigation Referred to Courthouse
Suspects whose procedures at the police station were completed within the scope of the tender investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office have been referred to the courthouse.
Within the scope of investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 13 suspects detained on allegations of rigging IMM tenders and causing public loss have been referred to the courthouse after completing their procedures at the police station.
Basis of the Investigation and Developments
A preliminary review report was prepared by the Ministry of Interior Civil Inspection Directorate within the scope of investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
In accordance with expert reports, it was alleged that some tenders conducted by the IMM Purchasing Directorate were rigged and led to public loss.
Referral Process of Suspects to the Courthouse
The 13 suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were brought to the Istanbul Palace of Justice in Çağlayan after undergoing health checks at the hospital.
It was reported that the legal procedures of the suspects at the prosecutor's office are ongoing.
