The Da Nang health sector is subjecting its medical personnel to comprehensive training both domestically and abroad in order to reach international standards and apply advanced techniques.

International Integration and Training
Da Nang is focusing on developing the professional skills and expertise of its medical personnel to achieve high quality. Proactive training is provided in parallel with the development of specialized techniques, facilitating rapid access to modern methods.
Domestic and Overseas Courses
Between 2020 and 2025, dozens of training courses were organized abroad, and training was conducted for approximately 200 specialized teams across general and specialized hospitals. Personnel were sent to leading national institutions as well as countries such as the USA, South Korea, and Japan.
Specialized Hospital Objectives
Dr. Le Duc Nhan, Director of Da Nang Hospital, stated that the unit is focusing on developing high-quality human resources. The hospital aims to gradually evolve into a multi-center and specialized structure, integrating with the region.
Developments in Obstetrics and Pediatrics
The Da Nang Hospital for Women and Children sent more than 100 of its personnel for advanced training in fields such as pediatric emergencies, hemodialysis resuscitation, pediatric surgery, and prenatal diagnosis. Experts from both domestic and international origins were invited for experience sharing.
Future Goals and 2026 Plans
The city's health sector continues to develop highly qualified human resources with the aim of transforming Da Nang into a regional specialized medical center in 2026. Da Nang Hospital aims to become a top-tier hospital by 2030.
