Global Health Contacts in the US from Health Minister Memişoğlu
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu announced that they aim to make Turkey a global center in the field of health through biotechnology and strategic cooperation talks held in the US.
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu reported that within the scope of his US contacts, they held important talks in the fields of biotechnology, science, and international cooperation in San Francisco, Washington D.C., and New York.
San Francisco Visit and Inspections
Stating that he visited the world's leading biotechnology and research centers within the scope of his contacts in San Francisco, Minister Memişoğlu noted that they evaluated studies on cancer and cellular therapies with scientists.
During the visits, the delegation also examined robotic surgery technologies on-site and closely followed technological innovations in the field of health.
Strategic Talks in Washington
Coming together with US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Washington D.C., Minister Memişoğlu stated that they discussed the global health agenda and strategic cooperation opportunities between the two countries during this meeting.
New York and UN Contacts
Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's United Nations contacts within the framework of his New York program, Memişoğlu shared Turkey's global health vision at the UN Pandemic Preparedness Summit.
