Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Ha Nhat Le met with officials from the Provincial Department of Health and the Provincial Social Security Office to evaluate health insurance, medical supplies, and digital transformation processes.

Scope of the Meeting and Topics Discussed

Current developments in the healthcare sector were discussed at a working meeting led by Provincial Party Committee member and Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Ha Nhat Le.

The meeting detailed the quality of healthcare services, universal health insurance policies, disease prevention, medical supply procurement, and digital transformation efforts.

Healthcare and Digital Transformation Data

It was announced that as of October 2, health check-ups conducted across the province reached a total of 406,246 people, and 168,873 electronic health records were created.

Additionally, it was shared with participants at the meeting that the assignment of doctors has been completed in all 56 district and commune health centers across the province.

Health Insurance Coverage

According to data shared by the Provincial Social Security Office, the number of people benefiting from health insurance reached 527,700 in the first nine months of the year.

With this achieved rate, it was officially recorded that health insurance coverage across the province has reached approximately 93 percent of the population.

New Directives and Tasks

At the end of the comprehensive working meeting, Ha Nhat Le assigned various tasks for the upcoming period to the Department of Health and the Social Security Office.

The directives presented to relevant managers aim to further improve the healthcare infrastructure and insurance services throughout the province.
