Ministry of Health Approved Cupping Therapy Training Begins at Kayseri City Hospital
A certification program in the field of complementary medicine was launched in Kayseri with the participation of 21 trainees from various provinces.
The practical training process has begun as part of the Ministry of Health-approved Cupping Therapy Training Certification Program at the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Application Center of Kayseri City Hospital.
High Participation in the Course
Twenty-one trainees participating in the program from various provinces across Turkey have moved on to practical work conducted in a clinical setting after completing their theoretical training.
Practical Training Process
It was reported that during the application phase of the training organized within the scope of the Cupping Therapy Application Training Program, trainees will perform various procedures under the supervision of expert instructors.
Emphasis on Safety and Hygiene
During the training process, not only application techniques but also studies focusing on patient safety and hygiene standards will be carried out meticulously.

Kayseri City Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özcan drew attention to the importance of traditional medicine methods being applied by trained and competent individuals. Özcan stated that maintaining standards is critical for patient safety.
