These important bill drafts will be brought to the parliamentary agenda for evaluation at the National Assembly session in October 2026.
Simultaneous Amendments
The draft amending several laws in the healthcare sector simultaneously covers the Laws on Children, Persons with Disabilities, Medical Examination and Treatment, Pharmacy, the Elderly, and Health Insurance.
The primary objective of this comprehensive regulation is to completely eliminate legal gaps that may arise following the reorganization of the administrative structure.
Food Safety and Supply Chain
The amended Food Safety Law aims to adapt to global supply chain changes in areas such as production scale and e-commerce.
The new regulation intends to transition from pre-inspection to post-inspection stages and mandate traceability for high-risk foods.
Organ Donation Regulations
The Law on Donation and Transplantation of Human Tissues, Organs, and Cadavers aims to expand donation sources.
Plans include introducing stricter rules on living organ donations, preventing organ transplant tourism, and designating May 20 as Organ and Tissue Donation Day.
Tobacco Product Restrictions
Amendments to the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms will ban electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products.
Additionally, nicotine pouches, shisha, and the display of tobacco products at wholesale and retail points of sale will be completely banned.
