By decision of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, access blocks were imposed on 53 accounts determined to have manipulated the stock market on social media platforms and targeted public order with provocative posts.

Background of the Investigation

As a result of digital tracking and review efforts carried out under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications, organized disinformation activities were detected.

Identified Activities

It was determined that the accounts systematically circulated false information and produced content that would affect capital markets.

It was established that these profiles manipulated stock market movements to mislead investors and conducted organized perception campaigns.

Legal Intervention and Decision

In line with the decision issued by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, access blocks were implemented against the profiles containing criminal elements.

As a result of technical examinations, it was determined that the relevant accounts operated on X, Instagram, and YouTube platforms.
