Painter and influencer Dem Sevinç Kul took 24 items with a total value of 47,860 liras and left the store without making a payment. Store employees, who noticed the situation, immediately stopped her in front of the store.

Police teams dispatched to the scene upon notification delivered the recovered items completely back to the store. Social media influencer Dem Sevinç Kul was taken to the Harbiye Police Station for legal procedures. In her statement to the police, Kul stated that she was waiting for her friend and wanted to pay for the products.
