The opening of the "From Canvas to Field" Art and Sports Academy project, which aims to support the development of students with special needs in Amasya through artistic production, sports, and virtual reality activities, has taken place.

Purpose and Scope of the Project

The opening of the "From Canvas to Field" Art and Sports Academy project, prepared to support the development of students with special needs in Amasya, has been held.

With the project, it is aimed to increase the motor skills, social adaptation, and self-confidence of students with special needs through artistic production, adapted sports activities, and virtual reality experiences.

Participants and Institutional Cooperation

Many important figures attended the opening ceremony of the project, which is coordinated by the Provincial Directorate of National Education and supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4008 program.

Head of the Audit Group Ministry Chief Inspector Mahmut Çaylak, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Ali Katipoğlu, inspectors, administrators, teachers, and students took part in the ceremony.

Institutions Involved in the Project

Carried out in cooperation with Amasya University and the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, this special work has been implemented as an important part of the inclusive education approach.

Activities and Games

Following the opening ceremony, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Ali Katipoğlu experienced pleasant moments by playing the Get-to-Know Ball game together with the students.

Within the scope of the project, which will run from October 5 to October 9, 2026, volleyball, curling, rhythm workshops, open-air canvas works, and virtual reality applications will be carried out.
