Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Eminoğlu Visited Damascus and Aleppo

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Eminoğlu came together with the Syrian Ministry of Sports and Youth and various institutions as part of his official visit to Damascus and Aleppo.

Contacts in Syria

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Eminoğlu paid an official visit covering the provinces of Damascus and Aleppo and met with authorities. During the visit, various official institutions, primarily the Syrian Ministry of Sports and Youth, sports facilities, and historical sites were visited one by one.

Meeting with Youth

Within the scope of the programs held in Damascus, a meeting was also organized with Syrian youth who had lived in Türkiye for a period. It was stated that coming together once again with the youth and children who were previously hosted in Türkiye provided emotional moments.

Evaluations on Cooperation

It was reported that the contacts initiated in Istanbul last year were continued with the talks in Damascus. During the meetings held, important evaluations were made regarding the development of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of youth and sports.

Humanitarian Will and the Future

Eminoğlu emphasized the importance of the humanitarian will put forward by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. It was stated that the pride and happiness of witnessing children looking to the future with hope in a free Syria was experienced.
