15 Scientific Innovation Awards Given in 2026
At the ceremony held within the scope of National Innovation Day, 15 outstanding startups and products selected from nearly 700 applications were awarded.
At the Scientific Innovation Competition Award Ceremony held as part of the 2026 National Innovation Day celebrations, 15 successful startups and products that stood out with the theme of innovation for society received their awards.
Purpose of the Competition
Carried out under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology and jointly organized by the VnExpress Newspaper, the competition was implemented in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Office and the Innovation Office.
Application Process and Theme
Held under the theme of Innovation for Society, this year's organization received nearly 700 applications, and as a result of the evaluations, 15 outstanding initiatives were deemed worthy of awards.
Winner of the First Place Award
This year's first-place award was given to C-HySI, a low-cost hyperspectral optical platform product developed by Chau Khac Bao Chuong that integrates edge computing and machine learning.
Second Place Awards and Projects
Three Second Place Awards, each worth 50 million VND, were presented to Pham Thanh Long and Doan Xuan Truong for the Electromechanical Locked Safe project, to BKIC and SPARC Laboratory for the BioPulse Insight project, and to Vo Nguyen Dai Hieu for the SignSound project.
Most Favorite Innovation Award
Within the scope of the competition, the Most Favorite Innovation Award, worth 10 million VND, went to a product named DEEPMEDSP-AI developed by a team from Xanh Pôn General Hospital.
