Emphasis on Digital Transformation and Innovation at University Seminar
At an event held at the Trade Union University of Vietnam, it was stated that educational processes must be integrated with the practical needs of businesses.
During a digital transformation seminar organized by the Trade Union University of Vietnam, it was stated that in the age of artificial intelligence, appropriate environments must be created to enhance students' innovative capacities and transform theoretical knowledge into practical applications.
New Approach in Higher Education
In this period when developments in science, technology, and artificial intelligence are rapidly changing learning and production methods, the role of higher education institutions is being redefined.
Universities are no longer just places that transfer knowledge, but must also offer spaces where students can solve problems and put their knowledge into practice.
Rector Emphasizes Critical Thinking
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung, Rector of the Trade Union University of Vietnam, stated that while technology is a vast source of information, what truly matters is the skill of critical thinking.
The university will renew its investment strategy in basic research and allocate special funds to support students in establishing their own businesses.
Entrepreneurship and Value Creation
Dr. Dinh Viet Hoa, President of the Vietnam National Entrepreneurship Association, expressed that students must develop their ability to create value in this constantly changing environment.
Sector and Education Integration
During the seminar, experts noted that one of the fundamental meanings of innovation in higher education is bridging the gap between the educational process and the practical needs of businesses.
In this context, while students gain access to the demands of the labor market, businesses also find the opportunity to discover young talents and new ideas much more easily.
