Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology Launches Digital Law Competition
Technology workers and students nationwide are testing their legal knowledge in an online quiz held via the National Legal Portal.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology has launched an online legal knowledge competition titled Understanding the Constitution and Laws via the National Legal Portal for officials, employees, and students in its affiliated units.
Launch of the Competition and Participation Process
Officials and employees of the Vietnam Internet Center are participating in the online competition titled Understanding the Constitution and Laws via their phones or computers. On August 28, 2026, the center announced the initiation of this process in accordance with the Ministry of Science and Technology's Plan.
Participation of Institutes and Staff
The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology also launched a similar competition a day earlier for all its staff, lecturers, trainees, and students. Participants complete the tests entirely online through the National Legal Portal.
Scope and Topics of the Competition
The competition content covers the Constitution, citizens' fundamental rights and obligations, as well as critical areas such as digital transformation, electronic authentication, online public services, personal data protection, and electronic transactions.
Digital Law and New Technologies
Within the scope of the program, digital assets, artificial intelligence, and other emerging legal issues in the digital environment are included among the test questions, aiming to raise legal awareness across the sector.
Schedule and Implementation Period
According to the plan published by the Ministry on August 23, the competition is being implemented throughout the entire Ministry, and the event will continue uninterrupted until October 3, 2026.
